Scope
Overview
Isola Space is Isola Design Group’s first permanent home and official headquarters in Dubai. Located at The Lana Promenade, overlooking Business Bay, the space brings together an exhibition gallery, design store, café, creative workspace, and event venue under one roof.
The project marked the transition of Isola from an international design platform activated primarily through festivals and temporary exhibitions into a permanent physical destination for Dubai’s creative community.
The objective was to translate Isola’s identity into a flexible spatial experience that could support exhibitions, retail, hospitality, events, and everyday community interactions while maintaining a consistent brand presence across every touchpoint.
Responsibilities
As Art Director and Creative Project Lead, I was responsible for translating Isola’s visual identity into its first permanent physical space and ensuring its consistency across the architectural environment, visitor experience, and ongoing communication.
I developed the environmental brand system across the venue, including spatial graphics, wayfinding, signage, window applications, printed materials, and visitor-facing messaging for the gallery, design store, café, workspace, and event areas.
I also directed the visual communication for the space’s launch and evolving cultural programme, developing campaign identities and exhibition graphics for projects including Icons of Tomorrow and Design Is Served.
Throughout the project, I collaborated with architects, marketing teams, external suppliers, and production partners, coordinating workflows, timelines, approvals, and the implementation of physical and digital assets.
The result was a flexible yet recognisable brand environment that could evolve with new exhibitions, collaborations, and events while maintaining a cohesive identity across every visitor touchpoint.
